Ryan Day Sent a Brutal Massage to Micihgan about what has gone on the last…..

Ryan Day on Michigan football: ‘We learned a lot about what has gone on the last two years’

Ryan Day is still running from the words spoken by Jim Harbaugh after the 2021 Michigan football win over Ohio State.

Day and the Buckeyes have been searching for excuses to explain away Michigan’s success. First, C.J. Stroud had the flu. It was the snow and then last year, even though Ohio State admitted it changed its signs, Ryan Day still appears to be using that as an excuse for getting his butt whipped in each of the past two seasons.

It tells you what kind of weak person he is mentally. Not only do I fully believe he was behind the PI investigation into Jim Harbaugh — or someone connected to Ohio State — which Michigan Regent Jordan Acker clearly believes too and

Day yelled at an 86-year-old man (Lou Holtz) to show his toughness in September. And on Monday, he essentially blamed the sign-stealing hoax on Ohio State’s combined losses by a total of 39 points the last two seasons to Michigan football — 45-23 and 42-27.

Michigan football might have pushed the boundaries, but if anyone thinks Day and the Buckeyes haven’t been stealing signs and (probably) breaking rules, well, you’re naive. Ohio State was trading signals with Illinois, Rutgers, and Purdue. And that’s just what we know.

I’d love for the Big Ten or NCAA to investigate. It would be interesting to see what would happen if NCAA investigators talked to Ohio State players about that during the week of a game. But they won’t, because the NCAA isn’t fair or equitable and none of this has to do with rule-breaking or enforcement.

The NCAA is trying to make an example of Jim Harbaugh, which is why these minor violations, which wouldn’t even be investigated if it wasn’t Michigan (just ask Wake Forest), are being made out to be the worst scandal in the history of the sport.

What’s also interesting is how much that narrative helps Ryan Day, which he needs, as we were reminded on Monday night. He can blame the “signs” all he wants.
