Joel Hamling opens up on Fremantle Dockers exit, joining Sydney Swans during AFL Trade Period

Joel Hamling says he would have remained at Fremantle if they’d offered him a contract earlier in the year, but in the end, joining Sydney was a “no-brainer”.

Hamling signed with the Swans as an unrestricted free agent last month, exiting the club alongside wingman Liam Henry (St Kilda) and forward Lachie Schultz (Collingwood) over the trade period.
