Rivers sprained his PCL during the team’s win against the Cardinals last week. Rookie Kyren Williams was also injured in the win against Arizona but will not be placed on IR. Rookie Zach Evans will likely start in place of Williams and Rivers. The Rams also added Royce Freeman to the active roster and signed both Darrell Henderson and Myles Gaskin.

October 16 TWO EVENTS GONE? The Los Angeles Rams suffered a pair of key injuries in Sunday’s win against the Arizona Cardinals as their two top defensive players – Kyren Williams and Ronnie Rivers – left the game with injuries.

Williams, who rushed for 158 yards against Arizona, suffered a late ankle injury and will undergo an MRI on Monday, according to reports. Rivers is also scheduled to have an MRI on Monday with a suspected ram PCL strain. If so, Rivers could miss several weeks. If both have to miss Sunday’s game against the Steelers, rookie Zach Evans could get the nod. October 15 NOTEBOOM OUT The Los Angeles Rams are without a better defense Joe Noteboom vs. Arizona Cardinals on Sunday afternoon, the team announced. Kevin Dotson will likely replace Noteboom in the lineup.

Good news for the Rams, but defensive end Ernest Jones is active and will start the game. Meanwhile, the Cardinals will be able to use the explosive Hollywood Brown on Sunday, as he was questionable on the Cardinals’ injury report on Friday.

He is the most experienced candidate for the role, but the Rams can look elsewhere if necessary.
