Panthers WR Terrace Marshall Jr. Possible Trades
Thursday Afternoon Jeremy Fowler ESPN reported that Carolina Panthers wide receiver Terrace Marshall Jr. was allowed to trade in the hope of a more prominent role.
Through five games this season, Marshall has caught 16 passes for 114 yards. If the Panthers move him, where could he go? Here are a few teams that come to mind. Baltimore Ravens The Ravens are a running team, but part of that is because they have no options at receiver.
Marshall isn’t going to solve those problems right away, but he’s someone they could take a chance on without giving up everything. Kansas City Chiefs I know the Chiefs just traded for Mecole Hardman, but I seriously doubt they were trying to add an addition at receiver. Marshall could be the big, speedy receiver the Chiefs have long been looking for.
Marquez Valdes-Scantling’s best football is behind him and Justyn Ross may or may not develop into something. At least Marshall has shown flashes and has a rookie contract.
Tennessee Titans The Titans may not be sure to make the playoff hunt, and if they don’t, they could take a long look at their young talent, including quarterbacks Will Levis and Malik Willis. Aside from Nick Westbrook-Ikhine and an aging DeAndre Hopkins, Tennessee doesn’t have much in the front office. Marshall makes a lot of sense here.
