Former Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams had a mixed season in 2023. Las Vegas’ record improved to 3-3, but Adams made it clear he wasn’t happy with everything going on in the front office. While the Raiders have won two straight games, Davante Adams has played a smaller role on offense in each victory. The goals of Adams fell from 20 in the Week 3 loss of Las Vegas to Pittsburgh to 13 in the four and five games later. Between the last two games, he caught just six passes for 74 yards. While the diversity of the Raiders’ offense has benefited them, Adams isn’t entirely satisfied with his current position. After all that, there is a new team that would make Adams lie if he were traded.

Clark Dalton emphasized the huge change in probabilities:

Trade rumors are gaining momentum after WR Davante Adams expressed frustration with his role with the Las Vegas Raiders. One surprise landing became a favorite.

According to BetOnline.ag, the Buffalo Bills have the best odds (4/1) to land the six-time Pro Bowler if he is traded before the Oct. 31 deadline. This would be a great move for Buffalo as Adams and WR Stefon Diggs would form one of the best tandems in the league.

As speculation grows about Davante Adams’ future with the Raiders, the #BillsMafia has come out on top.

However, a trade is unlikely. ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler recently reported that the 30-year-old is “ready to play in Las Vegas long-term.” He is also in the second year of a five-year, $130 million contract. Teams may not have a cap on that contract, and he may not want to renegotiate. However, the Raiders should encourage him and target him more. Even though they won two games in a row, Adams’ role diminished. He has just six receptions for 74 yards with nine scores over the past two games.

“I’m sure people are thinking, ‘They won the game, why is that a problem?’ So when I go there, hopefully I’ll put it on tape and make an impact on the game.”

In terms of talent, there may not be a better match at this deadline. Basically, the only targets worth keeping an eye on in Buffalo’s receiving corps is Stefon Diggs. Regardless, there needs to be a lot more smoke before Adams can be called on fire. It would be difficult to make the money work and the Raiders would have to give up an elite receiver.

Regardless, Adams will add fireworks to this offense and restore Buffalo as a Super Bowl contender. The Bills could end their season in early January due to injuries on their defense and concerns about a non-Diggs side. Adding Adams would put them among the NFL’s elite offenses. Ezoic
