David Seaman predicts who will win Manchester City vs Brighton vs Hove Albion

Before the international break, Manchester City lost to Wolverhampton Wanderers and Arsenal in the Premier League.

Pep Guardiola’s side return to action this weekend and are determined to fight back.

Manchester City face Brighton and Hove Albion at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday.

City is currently third in the league table.

The defending champion collected 18 points from eight matches. Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are first and second with 20 points.

Brighton and Hove Albion are in sixth place with 16 points from eight games.

Even though City are at home, I expect Brighton to make things difficult for the Citizens.

Former City goalkeeper David Seaman gave his prediction for the match.

The expert supported the home team to a 2:0 victory. Speaking on his podcast, Seaman said: “It looks like the Stones are about to come back, doesn’t it?

“I’m going 2-0 for Man City.”

My take: Why Manchester City will beat Brighton

I’m backing Manchester City to beat Brighton and Hove Albion this weekend.

First, City have the better squad.

It makes all the difference in the end.

Rodri returned from the bus stop. Manchester City Brighton

And we can all agree that City are a much better and stronger team with Rodri.

Second, the match is at the Etihad Stadium.

City are strong at home and the crowd is behind them.

Thirdly, Brighton themselves were not in good form before the international break.

After losing to Chelsea in the EFL Cup, Roberto De Zerbi’s side hammered Aston Villa 6-1 in the Premier League. A 2-2 draw was then achieved with Marseille and Liverpool.

Now of course I don’t think City should be satisfied with a Brighton team who are really good and play fantastic football.

But I think if City play normally they should take all three points from the game.
