Daniel Farke set to blackmail  two key Stars with Archie Gray decision – Leeds United predicted XI vs. Norwich City

Daniel Farke is expected to make changes to his Leeds United starting line-up to face Norwich City, but Archie Gray will not be left out.

Glen Kamara and Dan James are thought to be the men who could go after the Whites boss revealed Willy Gnonto and Jamie Shackleton were free again after injury in a pre-match press conference on Thursday (October 19).

As a result, the Italian winger is tipped to replace his Welsh counterpart despite James’ prolific form with a goal and three assists in the Championship following his return against Millwall on the 17th. in September

Much has been made of Gray’s workload after the 17-year-old played three full games for England under-19s during the break, but while Farke highlighted his concerns, he is expected to move the youngster back into midfield after an unexpected stint. straight back as Bristol City won 2-1.

With the manager apparently preoccupied with protecting Luke Ayling, Shackleton is thought to be a full-back with Gray taking the midfield spot from Kamara while Djed Spence is still available. Gray will compete at the weekend, but today he was limited to recovery instead of a full session.

Phil Hay told a press conference that while Farke highlighted problems with Gray’s heavy usage, he made it clear that first-team Leeds United games were the most beneficial for him and that he had reduced his training load to keep him competitive.

Farke now has a few options as he gets players back and could legitimately keep James in the side, but with Gnonto and fellow youngster Crysencio Summerville arguably his two best men, they could get the nod when the manager returns to face his former club.

Georginio Rutter and Joel Piroe’s attack continues to develop and there is no reason to change that now, while Ampadu and Gray in midfield have gone from essential at the start of the season to a clear favorite for the German boss.

At the back, Shackleton is the only predicted change as Sam Byram is expected to stay on the left when he returns to Carrow Road. The central partnership of Joe Rodon and Pascal Struijk is now clearly up front and should see them start once, while Illan Meslier remains the starter in goal.

Farke is looking to get his third win of the round and now most positions have weapons from the bench to help him do it, except maybe left back, Junior Firpo is still out.
