Paris Saint-Germain has seen a number of players come through their youth academy and build quality careers outside of France. One of the talents left for greener pastures is Crystal Palace’s Odsonne Édouard.

Édouard left the French capital permanently to join Celtic in 2018, then joining the Premier League club in 2021. However, the 25-year-old recently spoke to Téléfoot and answered a question from former PSG youth producer Jonathan Ikoné about his favorite . . club

“I have always maintained this relationship with PSG: when I started football, my dream was to play for PSG and score a goal at the Parc des Princes,” Édouard told French media. “Why not one day!”

PSG have had some talented players through the youth academy, some of whom, like Presnel Kimpembe and Warren Zaïre-Emery, have established themselves. However, others had to go for more minutes and continue their careers.

Even if these players leave, their love for PSG remains. As part of this new project, the capital club wants to retain top French talent rather than see them flourish elsewhere.

It will be interesting to see if players of Édouard’s caliber can show their talent and earn a place in the team, rather than leaving for greener pastures. sent by someone
